A very happy birthday to Alwyn! well, although today is not his exact birthday, we celebrated his birthday for him. Its a early celebration. Poor alwyn, he was thrown into the swimming pool by laurel and me. Hahas. Me and my evilistic ideas. Dots. What to do? I am who I am. Can't blame me.:-p Today we all went crazy. Ok, imagine this situation. One fine day, you decide to swim in the pool in your condo. then when you went to the pool, you see five crazy people singing away. Yup that was what we did. Crazy? Well, can't blame us. we are from choir. we love to perform for people. Well, the juniors also danced by the side of the pool. they danced the Reach out for the skies. The one sung by taufik and the rui en. yah you noe that song? i din join them i stood by and watch.
i tell you something. Alwyn's parents really young. His dad is only two years older than my elder brother. He is 42 years old. if you are asking why my eldest brother is so old then i can only tell you that my family is a complicated one i have no wish to explain. hahas. tiaos right. nvm.
i got a new story idea. shall write it down then after Os i will write. so long farewell
枫岚 : 12:35 上午 Today went for SYFOC 2006. It was a historical moment as this will be the last time SYFOC will be held in the National Stadium. Why? Because the National Stadium will be torn down after NDP. I think. Anyway, the performance was great. The performance started with the combine school choir singing a few song that almost all of us would know how to sing. E.g. Chan Mali Chan, I Dream and etc. Then the parade started. The various uniform groups marched in with vigour accompanied by the music played by the band. I makes me wonder how long did they train to be perfectly in time with the beat of the music and with one another. Next, the PM arrived and inspected the contigents. well i donot have much to say about that part as i went to the loo.
When i came back, there was a performance by a guest military band from Malaysia. No offense but they were extremely soft and we could only vaguely hear the drums. The same goes for the Thailand group. Although they were abit louder, they were not much better off than the Malaysia ones.
Next up was a mass display called something like "pulse of youth" or something like that. It was quite glaring as the display used highly reflective material and the sun was high up in the sky. Some of the band people named the item "照妖镜".
Then came 3 military bands of Singapore. They were Tanjong Katong Sec, Deyi Sec and Bowen Sec (in order of appearance). They wowed the crowd with their wonderful performance which was in a jarring contrast of the guest bands performance. Well, these 3 are bands with Gold with Honours so what do you expect from them.
the rest was unworthy of being mention so you have to find out about it yourself.
